We are praising God for faithfully leading us to our next Senior Pastor, Logan Justice, and his wife, Leah. Logan’s heart for the local church and for teaching God’s word is expressed well by Ephesians 4:11-13 and Hebrews 4:12. “It is an honor to walk with God’s people as we are transformed into whole-hearted followers of Jesus through prayer, community, and God’s Word.”

God called Logan and Leah to join the SHCC family in May of 2022. Logan grew up on a cattle ranch in rural Missouri. He attended Ozark Christian College in southwest MO, where he met his wife Leah, graduated with a degree emphasizing theology and preaching, and ministered to a rural church in the area.

God directed their path to Colorado Springs in 2016 as Logan pursued a master’s degree in spiritual formation from Denver Seminary, graduating in 2018. Before joining SHCC, Logan served on staff for five years at Academy Christian Church in Colorado Springs as an associate pastor leading the young adult and the mission’s ministries, as well as serving on the preaching and spiritual formation teams.

In his free time, Logan enjoys getting out into nature—whether it is hunting, hiking, hammocking, or reading a great book. Logan and Leah welcomed a baby, Poppy Grace Justice into the family in June of 2022.
